Visit by Gillian Merron MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Foreign & Commonwealth Office to the BVI, 7-9 April


Tuesday, April 7 – The Governor’s Office is pleased to confirm that the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Minister, Gillian Merron, will be visiting the British Virgin Islands from April 7-9. This will be the first Overseas Territory that the Minister has visited since being appointed as Minister for the Overseas Territories on October 5, 2008.

The visit is an opportunity for the Minister to introduce herself and learn more about the key issues that affect the BVI. The Minister has a full programme of events, which include calls on the Governor, Premier and other key figures from several agencies.
