Departments

The 17 units which make up what is called the Deputy Governor's Office are essentially those that make up the governance of the Territory. Indeed, the departments support activities across the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of government. These departments and units are the building blocks of democracy, since they are responsible for functions such as elections, the public service, the police, courts, nationality, and the Legislative and Executive Councils.
